Who Am I?
My name is Danny.
I want you to know that the most important habit that I've ever done is meditation. What I mean by meditation is to sit and just allow thoughts to arise. If you spend 20 minutes meditating for the next 100 days, your life will become a greater expression of who you truly are.
These are some of my experiences.
I was born in Long Island, New York to parents and grandparents who really loved me. This was a massive blessing, and it will shape the rest of my remaining years. I don't take this for granted.
I was playing Little League baseball.
I wanted to expand my audience. So I created a blog called Command Your Time, which was focused on helping people with time management. I wrote posts like "30 Reasons To Believe In Yourself" and "8 Simple Steps To Be Happier." I even wrote a blog post about Gary Vaynerchuk (it was 2009) that he commented on.
I started a blog called Knicks Vision. I covered the New York Knicks.
I went to college. I partied. I left most of my online pursuits, knowing that this was a vacation for me. During summer one year, I covered high school lacrosse. During summer another year, I interned for the New York Mets in their Public Relations department. I thought I was going to go down the route of sports media.
I graduated college and decided, "I'm not going to work for anyone." I created an e-commerce store.
I moved to San Diego to explore my newfound economic freedom.
I asked myself, "Why am I not happy? I'm living in the most beautiful place in the world." So I decided to start meditating (thanks to Tej Dosa). I also did 75 Hard at this time.
I started a podcast (The Danny Miranda Podcast). I committed to doing three episodes per week for at least 100 episodes… and to see what would come of it. Within three months, I interviewed Gary Vaynerchuk (one of my heroes, since 13).
I moved to Austin, TX.
I figured out I was more than a podcaster, and started to dive into the worlds of David Hawkins and Wayne Dyer. I started to host men's retreats and help people create more freedom in their life.
I decided to become a hypnotherapist.
And now we're here.
