I just spent an hour backing up my unreleased podcast episodes to Google Drive.
It hit me that all these conversations would be gone if something happened to my computer. Quite a troubling thought. I’d have wasted the guests time, I’d be 20 episodes behind, and I’d have a lot of work to do.
I realized this a few days ago.
And I actually put off doing it for a few days because it was important but not urgent. I knew it would it take some time and it’s a boring process. But I just bit the bullet and did it.
This isn’t exactly some groundbreaking idea. To back up my stuff.
But let it be a reminder for you to do something in your own life that is important but not urgent.
Because, from my experience, those are the most difficult tasks to get ourselves to do.
And when we do them?
We sleep much better at night.
This is Day 14 of 14 of my daily writing challenge.
